was told that IF you have applied for a permit, there is a 2 week grace until they issue and sort out who is getting them, but you have to have registered before you park there (they have hand held computers that they check if you have applied on) If you have not applied then you could get a parking ticket, so my advice is if you have applied then you can try and park in the grounds if you havent then its at your risk. But thats only what I have been told, I am just a new student so do not know the full details of the parking laws and regulations, but was told this on Friday morning.
