Join if you would like to have a coffee machine in JP Library.
We are going to put vending machines with snacks and cold drinks, but LSS would like to know whether students really want a coffee machine, alongside all that!
Lifelong learning - not a course, but an exciting journey of discovery and learning!
About Me:
I'm a Learning Architect in the Educational Development team (TQEG) supporting students and staff to develop their skills. I teach a core module for the Combined Studies degree, and I'm a personal tutor for the MEd Training & Development Programme. I also have some input on the Contemporary Issues in Geography and Environmental Management module.
I probably started working at the University before some of you were born! I've got a good knowledge of how the University works, and the facilities available, so I can usually point people in the right direction for getting the information or help they need.
I was a part-time mature student at the University (graduated in 2004), and know what it is like to juggle home, study and work life.
What qualifications did you get before coming to University?
Left school at 16 with 4 GCSE's - since working at the University I've got a masters degree! Shows what you can achieve if you put your mind to it.
Favorite Music:
Very varied, Led Zepellin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Jennifer Hanson, Gemma Heyes, Anne McCue, Mostly Autumn, Adiemus and loads more!
